Japanese quality is perhaps the best in the world, and only German can compete with it. The Yamaha PSR-E263 synthesizer is a high-quality entry-level keyboard instrument perfect for learning and playing.

Compact and stylish

The synthesizer has an ergonomic design with rounded corners, compact dimensions of 940x106x317 mm and a light weight of 4 kg.

The model provides a 61-note full-size semi-weighted keyboard with medium key rigidity. Unfortunately, it is passive, although for a student's instrument, the presence of a dynamic keyboard is an important point, as it allows you to learn how to adjust the volume and expression by pressing.

The model supports 32-voice polyphony, has 400 built-in timbres and 130 auto accompaniment styles. Several equalization options and an Ultra Wide Stereo effect help to enrich the sound.

The sound quality, as for an entry-level instrument, in the PSR-E263 is not bad, there is some synthesizing of strings and winds, but in general, the sound picture is quite juicy and does not bother with artificiality.

Additional functions

The model is equipped with a built-in Yamaha Education Suite, consisting of 9 step-by-step lessons. It allows you to independently learn compositions of varying complexity, regardless of skill level. A metronome helps develop a sense of rhythm, play a melody smoothly, and a sequencer helps you record and listen to it.

Also implemented is the Duo mode, which divides the keyboard into two identical zones, allowing two musicians to play together.

Headphones, a pedal and a player are connected to the synthesizer. The built-in 5W speaker system is enough power to listen to recorded parts and play finished songs with friends and family.

The Yamaha PSR-E263 is the perfect instrument to inspire beginners, with a couple of drawbacks but an attractive price tag.
