The word "Xerox" has long become a household name, and that's no coincidence. The company has long been known for its quality equipment for printing and copying office documents, so buying their inexpensive LED color printer was no accident. A good model for a small office that occasionally needs fast color printing. The print speed is really good, regardless of what is being printed (monochrome or color) the printer consistently delivers about 18 pages per minute. The result isn't record-breaking, but definitely decent for high-quality color printing. It can operate in high-resolution mode at 2400x1200 dpi and has an impressive monthly print volume. Various connectivity options are provided: from standard USB and more advanced Ethernet LAN, to the cutting-edge Wi-Fi Direct mobile device direct printing technology, made possible by a built-in compatible wireless adapter. It has relatively compact dimensions and looks strict and elegant. The paper input tray is relatively small, officially holding only 150 sheets, but in practice, it's better to load no more than 100-120. I understand that the device is positioned for home use, but it's also recommended for small offices, and a mere hundred sheets is quite insufficient for an office. I was also not impressed with the starter package of the printer, which included trial cartridges with a toner capacity of 500 pages. You need to buy full cartridges yourself, and they are, to say the least, not cheap. Overall, the cost is higher than the initial purchase of the printer. Many manufacturers use this practice, but Xerox has shown the highest level of stinginess. |
