The wired bike computer from VDO is a mid-price solution with a basic set of features. One of the features of the device is the informativeness of the data output (a fairly large 2-line monochrome display with dimensions of 31 x 39 mm is offered) and the provision of a constant opportunity to compare speed indicators. The current speed is displayed in the upper field of the screen by default, and an arrow next to it indicates its comparison with the average (looks up if you are riding faster, or down if slower).

The VDO R2 WR bike computer assumes a wired connection of the wheel speed sensor to the head unit, but the WL version is also available for sale. It provides easier installation on the bike, but with a shorter battery life - up to 2 years (versus 3 - for the wired variation). The model is equipped with an additional sensor - a thermometer, which means the user will be aware of the current air temperature during the rides. Traditionally, the automatic start-stop function is implemented here, there is a regular clock, as well as a waterproof case. It is worth highlighting the non-volatile memory separately, so that when you replace the battery, all statistics of cycling workouts will not be lost.
