Affordable dual-band AC1200 class wireless router with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) support and four external antennas to create extensive and high-quality network coverage. It is positioned by the manufacturer as a product of the basic price category, designed to create a performant network infrastructure in a multi-room city apartment, a small detached house or a small office (up to four PCs). The Gigabit Ethernet WAN port will fully utilize the potential of the gigabit incoming connection to the provider's network. In addition to the role of a router, the Totolink A3002RU v2 router can act as a repeater or wireless bridge. Thanks to the performant hardware platform and support for multi-stream data transfer MU-MIMO 2x2, an impressive theoretical data transfer rate is claimed (in the 2.4 GHz band...— 300 Mbps, at 5 GHz — up to 867 Mbps). In real conditions, a throughput of 110/350 Mbps is achieved, which will be quite enough to meet any household needs. Four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports allow you to create a small local area network for PCs, game consoles, Smart TVs, NAS and other devices. There is support for major security protocols and strong encryption of user traffic.

Four antennas

Totolink A3002RU is a wireless router with four external directional antennas. Two progressive broadcasting technologies have been implemented at once: MU-MIMO and Beamforming. MU-MIMO technology allows you to transmit several parallel data streams over a single antenna, thereby increasing the throughput of Wi-Fi.

Smart Broadcasting

In turn, Beamforming technology is able to analyze the architecture of the room and, taking this into account, broadcasts a directional radio signal. As a result, the loss of speed and range is reduced than would be the case with omnidirectional transmission in different directions. But keep in mind that Beamforming is only supported in Wi-Fi 5 mode, aka AC.

Faster than gigabit

The maximum Wi-Fi speed reaches 867 Mbps at 5 GHz and another 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz. The input WAN port for wired Internet is gigabit, four more similar output LANs. USB is also provided for connecting an external drive, which turns the router into a network file storage. But if you have a large house or office, it is wiser to opt for the Totolink T8 Mesh system.
