Choice for two
The semi-spherical tent of the Totem trademark belongs to two-person trekking models intended for use from April to October. It is designed for two people, but the size of the bed 150x210 cm allows the presence of a third tourist, but, of course, at the expense of comfort.
Totem Tepee 2 provides one entrance, duplicated with a mosquito net, as well as a small vestibule. Its length of 70 cm will be enough to accommodate the main travel equipment. Other comfort features include internal pockets and a pair of vents.
Lightweight and durable
The tent features a traditional two-layer construction with a dense outer and breathable inner material. The frame of the tent is formed by a pair of fibreglass arcs 7.9 mm thick. Such a system will not cause any particular difficulties with the assembly. Noteworthy is the quite acceptable total weight of 2.8 kg, that is, 1.4 kg per user.
The bottom is made of polyethylene, resistant to mechanical damage and abrasion, and the awning is made of polyester with special impregnations that protect against fire and UV radiation. In addition to sealing the seams, reinforced corners are provided to increase the strength and reliability of the outer tent.
The water resistance of the awning is claimed at the level of 1500 mm of water column, so rainy weather can become a problem for a tourist. But considering the low cost, Totem Tepee 2 is a great choice for easy hikes in good weather or visits to open-air festivals.
