Super OXI DEO filter
Toshiba's new wall-mounted split system filter contains natural ingredients known for their beneficial properties: vitamin C and coffee. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant and neutralizes free radicals. It converts harmful active oxygen molecules into O2, which is very beneficial for the skin and the human body. Coffee extract, which is part of the filter of new Toshiba air conditioners, adsorbs harmful oxides from the air. Scientific studies have shown that coffee bean extract has an even stronger antioxidant effect than green tea and grape seed extract.

Bio-enzyme filter
The filter catches various viruses, bacteria and mold fungi, purifying the air from them. Microorganisms are irreversibly bound by the filter and cannot be blown off with a fast air flow or shaken off when cleaning the filter. Enzymes are biological catalysts that are necessarily present in all cells of a living organism. Bioenzymes destroy bacteria, viruses and mold by biological action: the membranes of bacterial cells are hydrolyzed and dissolved. This filter operates at normal temperature and does not consume electricity.

ginkgo filter
The leaves of the ginkgo tree have long been used as a medicinal plant in oriental medicine, they contain more than 160 types of useful substances. Leaf extract includes flavonoids, ginkgolides and other biologically active substances that are used in medical nutrition products. Gingko extract, used in the filter of Toshiba air conditioners, reduces the concentration of substances that cause allergies in the air.

Bamboo extract filter
Bamboo extract has pronounced antibacterial and antiviral properties. Japan Research Laboratories Institute has proven the effectiveness of bamboo extract against influenza viruses and other pathogens. The use of bamboo as a raw material is permitted by the Food Hygiene Law (Japan).

Zeolite filter
The zeolite filter installed in Toshiba air conditioners eliminates odours, chemical compounds, and purifies the air from various contaminants. It removes contaminants such as smoke and cooking odours as small as 0.0001 microns. Zeolite is a natural mineral with a special crystalline structure. In the Toshiba filter, the zeolite is supplemented with titanium dioxide (TiO2) molecules. Thanks to its highly pleated surface, the new zeolite filter purifies the air twice as efficiently as a traditional activated carbon filter. Zeolite filters provide efficiency for 5 years. During restoration (washing in water and subsequent regeneration in sunlight), deodorizing and antibacterial properties return to the filter in full volume.
