Inexpensive model with good protection
In a solid and inexpensive model of the Thermex Nova 80 V boiler, made in a classic cylindrical format, there is no unnecessary functionality that affects the final price of the product. Despite the basic set of features, the manufacturer left the main protective elements in the equipment of the device, extending the life of the water heater. Thanks to the large 80 L internal tank coated with bio-glass porcelain, the device can be connected to several water intake points, providing hot water for the whole family. Given the built-in magnesium anode that protects the drive from corrosion, the warranty period of the tank, which is 5 years, is clearly underestimated.
High heating rate
Reliable thermal insulation of the inner tank ensures minimal daily heat loss of 1.44 kWh with an actual annual energy consumption of 526 kWh. The heating system of the boiler consists of two "dry" tubular EcoDryHeat elements with a power of 2 kW. When operating at maximum power, the electric water heater is able to raise the water temperature by 45 °C above the initial one in 125 minutes. The mechanical thermostat, located frontally on the bottom cover of the case, operates in the optimum temperature range of 18 – 75 °C. The device is equipped with a thermometer that displays the current temperature, power and heating indicators, a safety valve, and built-in overheating protection that operates at a temperature of 93 °C. The device is designed for vertical wall mounting with bottom connection and operation under pressure from 0.5 to 6 bar.
