And now that our son is in his fourth year, we are again happily going with our favorite company. A practical and comfortable tent for two or, as in our case, for the 2+1 formula. It is double-shell, that is, the outer case protects from wind and rain, and the inner one retains heat and is made of synthetic, but breathable fabric. Both awnings have high strength and a special weave that resists tearing. With correctly spaced guy wires, the fiberglass frame can withstand any, even strong thunderstorm wind. The outer tent is equipped with good ventilation windows, so the tent is well ventilated at night. Well, superventilation can be arranged during the day, for this you just need to open both entrances at once. It weighs a little 4200 grams with the frame. It folds compactly and is easy to carry and carry. The tent is called triple, but according to tourist tradition, this capacity is considered solely by the area occupied by one motionless lying person. With a width of 220 centimeters, each of the three people has only 70 centimeters, which in my opinion is not enough. I, for example, do not sleep peacefully, I need more space or I will cling to those who are nearby. So for three adults it is worth taking not this, but a four-person tent. But my wife and my son, who is 3.5 years old, fit in this model. |
I have not chosen or bought tents for a very long time, so my acquaintance with modern technologies surprised me and pleasantly pleased me. Now all normal camping tents are made two-layer with two independent awnings. Well, as independent, they still use the same frame, but the material of the fabric is different and each has its own purpose. This is an excellent two-person tent that is very easy to take with you, as it weighs only 3.5 kilograms. As I mentioned above, the design is double-layered. The outer fly is made of dense and waterproof polyester with a special weave (with a thicker thread woven into the fabric, providing increased strength), while the inner layer has no coating and can "breathe." This means that moisture exhaled by a person with their breath and skin does not accumulate in the living space but goes into the space between the layers. This is particularly noticeable on cool nights when the humidity inside is elevated but cannot be compared to the old single-layer designs. There is also a small vestibule where you can store backpacks in dry weather. The base of the structure consists of strong and lightweight fiberglass poles; in more expensive models, they are made of aluminum. This saves 250 grams of weight, and this savings costs 800 (!!!) hryvnias. Low ceiling. I am 182 centimeters tall and I can sit in it normally only in the central part, where the height of the dome reaches a meter. Even the manufacturer was cunning about the size, 220 centimeters wide does not work in it, even theoretically. I basically measured it with a tape measure and came out with a strength of 206 cm. The length of 150 also does not quite match, but there is a smaller difference, up to 5 cm. Good ventilation is obtained only if both entrances are opened at once, everything else is half measures and in the heat they do not really save. |
