At high currents of 30 and 40 A, the casing overheats, and there is a slight (at 40 A) odor from the grille where the hot air exits. The output connector heats up significantly. The connector should be removed, and the wires should be soldered directly to the board. Install two 80*80 mm fans outside opposite the ventilation grilles, one for air intake and the other for exhaust. I used 12 V fans with a power of 9 W, but powered them with 9 V. The casing's heating noticeably decreased, and the flow of hot air increased. Battery charge quality Strong heating of the casing at charging currents of 30 and 40 A. High price. High noise level. Weak connector for battery cable. |
