This time I bought a sink from another well-known European manufacturer - the Spanish company Teka. I didn’t see much difference between them, except that Franke, in my opinion, will be more weighty. But comparing them directly is a thankless task, there is no exact match in size, which means that the mass may well differ. Good quality stainless steel stamping. The steel is thick enough, I can’t say for sure, but the sound when tapping is not at all tinny, and of high quality. Apparently, it is made of steel 18/10, it is also AISI 304, it is also 08X18H10. It is an alloy with a relatively high content of chromium (18%) and nickel (10%). Industrial equipment for food production is made from it and is widely used in kitchen appliances. The material is durable, practical and hygienic. The surface of the sink is not just glossy or matte, I specially selected a model with an unusual micro-relief. This small notch, which, apparently, was also knocked out during stamping, hides small spots that remain after the water drops have dried. This allows you to keep the sink in visually good condition without much effort. The wife, by the way, is very pleased with this fact. The sink does not have a hole for the mixer, that is, it is fully reversible. There is a full one-year warranty. I wonder what would have to happen to that stamped piece of metal for the warranty to take effect? ) Persistent dirt that has fallen into the microdecor of the surface is cleaned with great difficulty. |
