I bought the phone for a work trip, so I wouldn't mind if anything happened to it. But it's a good model. I left the Redmi Note 7 for my wife. No point in comparing the two. But 4/64 is more than enough. In the price-quality category, it should be in the Top-3. Everything was included, no need to search for a screen protector, buy headphones, the case is really cool. For its price, it's an absolutely great budget option. In just a month and a half, I wore out the battery. At first, I charged it in the evening on the second day, now it barely lasts 1.5 days. The glass is a bit narrow. Photos are decent only in good lighting. Tecno Camon 12 is the most functional $150 smartphone in east european retail. By the combination of characteristics, it bypasses even such seemingly invincible state employees as Redmi 8 and Huawei Y7 2019, not to mention the Samsung Galaxy A10s. In addition, traditionally for Tecno smartphones, it is fully equipped with accessories: a protective film for the screen, a silicone case and a stereo headset.

The diagonal and resolution of the Camon 12 IPS display are 6.52" and 1600x720 pixels, which results in an aspect ratio of 20:9 and an image density of 269 PPI. Tecno Camon 12 is controlled by Android 9 Pie operating system with HiOS 5.5 shell and MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor. This is an energy-efficient 12nm single-chip system consisting of eight ARM Cortex A53 cores and a PowerVR GE8320 graphics accelerator.
Living Battery
The low energy consumption of the processor, coupled with a large battery capacity of 4000 mAh, allows you to use Camon 12 without recharging for a day and a half or two. 4 GB of RAM is preinstalled, and 64 GB of permanent flash memory. The tray for the microSD card and two SIM cards is separate. Thanks to this, you don’t have to sacrifice storage space for photos and videos, or favorable tariffs for phone calls and 4G Internet.
Cameras for different tasks
The main feature of Tecno Camon 12 is a triple camera: the main module is 16 MP, the second is wide-angle at 8 MP, and finally the third 2 MP for measuring the depth of the frame. The front selfie camera did not let us down either — also at 16 MP. You can blame Camon 12 only for the lack of support for the latest high-speed Wi-Fi standard 802.11ac, it still, alas, has not reached smartphones in this price category. Finally, we note that other interesting new smartphones have appeared in the Tecno assortment: an even more affordable three-chamber Spark 4 and a long-playing Pouvoir 3 Air with a battery as much as 5000 mAh.
