Do not buy the variant with the original optics, it falls apart. I recommend the Air precision AR 3-12x40, with 12,000 shots and it's in perfect condition. Don't fire it straight out of the box, wait for the de-preservation. Immediately install a gas spring, and the rest can be done over time. I've had many different rifles, and there was always something I didn't like. Finally, I have been satisfied with the Stoeger for the last 2 years, 100%... I definitely recommend it for purchase. I disagree with Stas, this is not an average rifle but a super magnum with an energy of 30-32 J. The Х50 is the flagship of the lineup with quality on par with Crosman-Benjamin. I am very pleased with its accuracy - 4x6 cm at 50 m, and reliability, no breakdowns in 2 years, only upgrades SM, GP, OP, chamfering. The unpleasant part is that during de-preservation there were shavings in the compressor, and the varnish coating was thin, which I improved with Danish oil. The Stoeger X50 Combo air rifle is a medium-power 4.5 mm rifle with effective targeting up to 20 meters. I purchased it for hunting small game, and it's also great for target shooting at the cottage to relax. I use 0.68 g pellets, and the accuracy is satisfactory. I made a small upgrade with a hydraulic gas spring, which will last longer than the original. Additionally, it has higher power and can handle a 1 g pellet, which improves the overall shooting characteristics. It can be used in both winter and summer. I'm glad I chose the one with a wooden stock, as it looks more noble and feels pleasant to hold. The scope that comes with the rifle is suitable for beginners, but for more advanced shooters, it's better to upgrade the optics, depending on how you plan to use the rifle. The common issue with break-barrel rifles is the barrel misalignment; shooting with open sights is not a problem, but with optics over 20 meters, there's some dispersion. If this is your first air rifle, I recommend going to a shooting range and zeroing it in with a specialist, addressing any looseness, tightening the bolts, and thoroughly cleaning the barrel. Overall, the rifle is functional, but like any new item, it requires some minor adjustments to suit your needs. It fully justifies its price. Lightweight, easy to hold, wooden stock.
