The model of the universal storage water heater of the Slovak manufacturer Stiebel Eltron PSH 50 Universal EL is interesting with a square section of the body with compact dimensions of 38x38 cm, in which a tank with a nominal volume of 50 liters is placed due to the elongated design. The device is good in that it can be oriented vertically or horizontally on the wall, connected to several water points and used in a two-tariff electricity metering system. Due to the double protection of the internal tank against corrosion with a high-quality enamel coating and a magnesium anode, the manufacturer gives a 10-year warranty on the drive.

Heavy duty heater and extensive electronics options

The device is equipped with one "dry" heating element with an unusually high power of 3 kW, capable of heating water to a maximum temperature of 85 °C. The high efficiency and performance of the heater allows you to increase the temperature of the water in the tank by 45 °C in just 53 minutes. Electronic control panel with a large digital display, power and heating indicators, as well as buttons for adjusting the temperature in the range of 20 °C - 85 °C with an accuracy of 1 °C and selecting heating modes. In addition, activation of the built-in modes of rapid heating and antifreeze (7 °C) is available on the panel. A separate plus should be noted the self-diagnosis function with displaying errors on the screen and three energy efficiency modes of the intelligent energy-saving ECO system: Comfort, Plus and Dynamic, which significantly saves energy and water consumption. So the daily consumption of electricity with water heated to 65 °C does not exceed 0.78 kWh, leaving behind many models in this class in terms of efficiency. The boiler allows you to set the heating temperature limiter within 40 °C - 60 °C, as well as block the control panel buttons from childish pranks.
