The narrow bezels around the display, paired with the original stand, give the Sony TV an appealing look that blends in with most interiors.
Shell
Sony KDL-32WD756 is included in the cohort of "smart" TVs. However unlike the more top-end representatives of the Japanese brand, operating on the basis of AnroidTV, a simpler own shell is used on board the model. In light of the small number of compatible applications and the total expansion of the green droid, its future seems very vague. The software shell is very easy to learn, but the impression from it is spoiled by the low speed of responsiveness — some commands are processed before being executed for 10-15 seconds.
natural colour reproduction
The factory calibration of the TV screen is done very well — there are no complaints about the quality and colour accuracy. Only the behavior of the image in scenes with a highly dynamic plot, which is manifested by jerks and twitching of the picture, as well as the “jelly effect” when the frames change quickly, causes complaints.
Port groups
Ports for connecting third-party devices to the TV are represented by a right-facing group of two USBs, one HDMI and a 3.5mm mini-Jack, as well as another group of HDMI, SCART, optical audio output and a network port directed towards the wall.
Button input
All functions of the model are controlled by the remote control. In appearance, it is not much different from the classic solutions, with the only difference being that the numeric keypad provides the ability to enter characters by analogy with push-button mobile phones. Agree, typing a search query or address in the browser bar in this way is much easier than using the on-screen keyboard to enter.
- Advanced Contrast Enhancer
- 24p True Cinema Technology
- Energy Saving Modes
- Clear Phase technology compensates for peaks or dips in the original frequency range
Advanced Contrast Enhancer
The Advanced Contrast Enhancer optimizes contrast in every scene by varying the backlight intensity to capture the finest levels of gradation. This allows us to see deeper blacks, even in dimly lit scenes.
24p True Cinema
This mode allows you to watch movies as they were conceived by the director himself — on a large screen with a frequency of 24 frames per second. Until quite recently, the movies we watched at home played faster than in theaters. Because a movie that is shown on TV or sold on DVD needs to be adjusted to fit the PAL format. The difference is that movies are shot at 24 frames per second, while television standard is 25 frames per second.
