How to effectively store and maintain a tent?Recommendations for maintaining and using a tourist tent in the long term

How to choose a tent for different usage scenarios?Let's figure out how to choose tourist tents for a hike, camping or expedition
Model overview based on user reviews
The SOL Mosquito tent is highly regarded for its spacious and sturdy design, accommodating up to six adults comfortably. It is particularly effective in protecting against insects with its mosquito nets, while still allowing air to circulate. Its steel frame is noted for its strength, although some users have found it necessary to reinforce it with additional pegs and guy ropes to withstand strong winds. The tent is easy to transport due to its convenient bag-case, but assembly can be challenging alone, requiring at least two people. While it performs well in rain and moderate wind, it can become hot in sunny weather, prompting some users to add extra coverings for shade. Overall, the tent is praised for its reliability during summer outdoor activities, despite minor issues with the frame and pegs.

Good for a large company but only in the form of a country gazebo, if it also came with 6 chairs, it would be a super paper) more of an awning for gatherings in nature than a tent, or purely for the summer and so that different living creatures would not eat if it is a forest, the tent is of course great, in the rain we sat and drank further, there is enough space for a round plastic table and chairs or hemp to sit on. All the walls are mosquito-proof, but there is a tarpaulin that covers it, it says very spring and summer, in reality it’s only summer. In autumn it is very cold, even if you close all the windows, everyone hid in their cars after two hours. There are no downsides, it just adds up. light weight. Doesn't take up much space. Of course, its price is a little expensive, but it’s up to everyone to decide for themselves whether it’s expensive or not. |

Our family, as well as the families of my brother and sister, try to get out into nature during the warm season. Twenty kilometers from our city there is a fairly clean river and we most often gather on its banks. The season starts in April and ends in the first half of October. And since May there is a problem of bright sun and mosquitoes. If you can still hide from the sun under a few trees, then mosquitoes on the river bank are a terrible misfortune, from which, first of all, children suffer. That is why I bought this large and reliable tent. Spacious and sturdy construction. It can accommodate six adults without any problems, and for small children it is generally a whole world. Once, in the rain, a whole company of eleven people hid in it. Yes, it was a bit crowded, but not to say that each other was on top of each other. Mosquito nets do not let insects through, but the air passes through normally. Holds the wind surprisingly well. To be honest, I didn’t really count on it, but if it’s well fixed on pegs, then 15-20 meters per second is not a problem for him. Strong steel arcs of a decent diameter, on which the entire structure rests, "hold the blow." The weight of the tent is decent, about 10 kg, but a convenient bag-case makes it easy to carry and transport, and not particularly troublesome. It's hard to put it together alone. You need at least two people, and even in this scenario, it takes a lot of time to assemble and disassemble. Still sometimes the latches on the legs stick, but this is solved with any knife or screwdriver in five seconds. |
