The device was purchased for my 9-year-old daughter, who has already tried a 6.5" model. The increased wheel size turned out to be critical due to the heavy weight. When the model runs out of charge (which can't be predicted), the child can't drag it home. However, its off-road capability is pleasing. For our roads (even city ones), it allows riding without fear of cracks, cobbles, gravel, branches, etc. The TaoTao app helps set parameters according to the rider's features. The lower motor power won't allow for climbing steep hills, but acceleration is smooth without jerks. Adjusting the max speed ensures safety at the initial stage. By tweaking the settings, you can increase the device's operating time, which is claimed to be 2 hours. BUT. A child couldn't get more than an hour out of it. Of course, if you ride straight at a constant speed, it might be possible, but not for leisurely park rides. Sometimes, my daughter experiences times when the device refuses to respond to her. In practice, we found out that the issue lies in the precise positioning of feet on the platform; a slight shift to the side by a few centimeters and there's a lack of "understanding." The speakers of the device are loud – the whole street and nearby houses hear this "Chinese phrase" when the hoverboard turns on. However, you can listen to music loudly through the speakers. The load in the description is one, while on the packaging, it's completely different - 100 kg. It makes you wonder if they are really selling what they promise (Chinese products are full of surprises). It was purchased from SmartCity, and for a long time, the seller provided consultation and valuable advice, not just made a sale. I bought it for a child, and I was not sickly tired, in view of the fact that all the same, the device is quite dangerous if used incorrectly. If we take the characteristics, I really liked the powerful motor, which pulled me along the ground and through small obstacles like sticks and small hillocks. There is an automatic balancing, which actually interested me in this model + rather bright coloring of the body, hubcaps (well, I call them that because the motorist), skirts, etc. The child was very pleased, he really liked the coloring of the case, and he quickly mastered this device (10 times faster than me :). During testing, the presence of a remote control was found in the kit. in fact, it only turns the device on and off, but in fact it turned out to be very useful. When the board is raised into verd, it turns off the motors and starts to squeak. Probably done so that they do not fly from the brows. Along the way (already with my son) we found the possibility of connecting the scooter to the phone. And as it turned out there are a lot of settings, including the sensitivity of stabilization, pressing, speed and accelerometer. There are LED flashlights, and they also blink when turning)) The batteries last an hour for 2-3 rides. I honestly did not expect such a set of functionality from a device for less than 200 bucks. We bought it for a teenager. They were overjoyed. It rides smoothly, doesn't brake harshly, and goes over small bumps effortlessly. It doesn't jump over curbs, of course, but it's not supposed to.
