4 induction hotplates

The iQ500 series induction hob (comfort) has dimensions of 59.2x52.2 cm and a beveled front for easier care and cleaning of the hob. There are four burners in its arsenal: two with a diameter of 18 cm and a power of 1.8 kW, one 14.5 cm (1.4 kW) and the largest 21 cm with a power of 2.2 kW. It is possible to combine two identical burners into one: as a result, you get a large area on which you can install elongated dishes. In addition, the powerBoost function will help save time for warming up by increasing power by up to 50%. In this mode, the power of the large burner is increased to 3.7 kW.

The system automatically recognizes the presence of dishes on the burner, determines its diameter and heats only this area. That is, the panel itself does not heat up, and this is a reduction in time, increased safety and easy cleaning. The quickStart function automatically activates the burner on which the cookware is installed, and reStart helps to save all settings in order to restore them after auto-off.

Management takes place using the touch panel, which is located in front. Here you can not only set the power for each burner or select the powerBoost mode, but also select a timer. Moreover, there are several of them: the first one programs the cooking time and, after a predetermined interval, turns off the burner, and the household timer simply detects the time and emits an audible signal, without turning off anything or changing the settings. The maximum available time for both is 99 minutes.

Security

In addition to a set of useful features and capabilities, the manufacturer has taken care of security. If the material of the cookware is not suitable for induction panels, the burner will turn off within 90 seconds. The hob also switches off automatically if all the hotplates are switched off within 20 seconds. There is also an automatic emergency shutdown of the device. It is activated if the hotplate has been switched on for a long time and none of the settings have been changed. This happens after 1 – 10 hours — it all depends on the installed power. And for the protection of the user himself, an indication of residual heat has been added: it signals whether the surface has cooled down after turning it off, so that you do not accidentally get burned by touching a hot burner.

If desired, the control panel can be locked if there are small children in the house who can turn on the device themselves. An automatic lock is also available, which is activated every time the hob is switched off.
