Samsung EB-P3000

The South Korean group of companies Samsung has been known for many decades for the production of high-quality telecommunications, computer and household equipment. Portable rechargeable battery Samsung EB-P3000 is a spectacular and expensive charger for true connoisseurs of the brand.

Elegant

The body of the strict rectangular model with rounded edges is made of matte textured plastic. The product is available in silver and navy blue. Looks attractive and stylish. Samsung's characteristic sleek design is recognizable from a distance. The dimensions of 148x71x15 mm and the weight of 240 g could be called average in terms of compactness due to the small thickness, but the whole picture is spoiled by the length, which is perhaps the largest in the class of models of this capacity.

Capable

The power bank has one USB output with a charge current of 1.5 A. A device with a 3000 mAh battery will charge from it in about two hours. There is no second port for charging, you will have to be content with one. The useful capacity claimed by the manufacturer is 6200 mAh, which is generally small, and indicates that the device is “sharpened” for smartphones and tablets with small-capacity batteries. The same Galaxy S8, for example, can be fully charged twice. But for most of the top “Chinese”, such as Xiaomi Redmi and Mi or Meizu with their 3500-5000 mA batteries, this power bank is no longer enough for two full charges.

The battery itself charges faster from the microUSB 2 A port, but only with the native cable. There will be problems with non-branded ones.

EB-P3000 is a nice and reliable power bank in an ergonomic form factor for owners of devices with built-in small capacity batteries.
