This automatic curling iron is part of a collection of devices created in collaboration between Rowenta and the brand of the famous fashion designer and designer Karl Lagerfeld. It offers a good balance of price and quality. Although the model is not from the budget segment, high-quality materials, flexible settings and ease of use fully justify its price.
Fast and easy
The curling iron has a closed design in which the heating element is hidden inside, which prevents accidental burns. The principle of operation is similar to conventional straight curling irons of medium diameter, which allows you to create natural spiral curls. The curl retains its shape for quite a long time, although this depends on the structure and characteristics of the hair. It takes about 10-15 minutes to style hair of medium length and thickness.
For a more gentle effect, the heating element is coated with tourmaline, which naturally ionizes the hair, reducing static electricity. This makes hair smoother, more manageable and shiny.
For any hair type
The curling iron is suitable for various hair types thanks to its flexible settings. Three temperature modes are available: 170, 200 and 230 degrees, which allows you to work with both thin and weakened hair and thick and unruly hair. There are also 4 curl duration settings: 6, 8, 10 and 12 seconds. Longer times produce more defined curls, but for damaged hair, it's best to choose shorter settings to avoid overheating.
The device is also safe to use: after 20 minutes of continuous operation, the curling iron reduces the heating temperature, and after 60 minutes of inactivity, it automatically turns off.
