What to choose: slow cooker, pressure cooker or rice cooker? What is the difference between slow cooker, pressure cooker and rice cooker, what are their advantages and disadvantages
a model with serious flaws
5 April 2019
It broke down after a few months. It just stopped turning on. The service center found a defect in the power supply and wrote it off. They said to contact the place where it was purchased, but the thing is that this store no longer exists! The people at Redmond flat out refused to give any phone numbers under penalty of death! But the warranty is from the manufacturer! If it were a store warranty, it wouldn't have been accepted at their official service center. The store is not obliged to act as an intermediary for a manufacturer’s warranty. There are even lifetime warranties, which depend on how long the company exists, not the store where the item was purchased. Furthermore, there is not a single contact phone number on the official Redmond website for feedback, even though there are 5 in Russia! Apparently, it's much easier for them to violate consumer rights in Ukraine. There's only a contact form for submitting inquiries, but it's just for show, as after filling it out and clicking submit, it simply refreshes, wiping out all the data you entered. There's no "your query was submitted, please wait," it's just an illusion. Nonetheless, I submitted my request several times! More than 3 weeks ago, not a single call or response. I even sent a registered letter to the company - same result, like it vanished into thin air. Redmond operates in Ukraine like our politicians. Advertising comes first, and the consumer is a distant second. Think for yourselves whether it's worth dealing with this company. All the funding goes into advertising, not into quality or respecting consumers. I’m going to file a complaint with the consumer rights service and go to court. The main thing is to nicely print a 24-month warranty on the box.

Redmond was one of the first to make a serious bet on smart kitchen appliances and did not fail in this matter. The chef of the RMC-M903S takes on a huge amount of kitchen duties, allowing you to escape from the routine chores of cooking.

heavenly oven

A distinctive feature of the character of the multicooker from the “heavenly ovens” series is the support for remote control of functions from a smartphone or tablet. The main thing is that the Ready for Sky mobile application is installed on the mobile device. The multicooker keeps stable pairing with gadgets via the Bluetooth network within a radius of up to 50 m. At least, such a figure is written in the passport documentation for the stove. In fact, due to the presence of various kinds of obstacles, the signal from the multicooker “finishes” a distance 2-3 times less.

Remote control

What is the use of "binding" a mobile gadget to an oven "by air"? In fact, it is very extensive: the application has a huge range of recipes with a step-by-step algorithm of actions and preset cooking parameters, it is possible to flexibly “twist” the heating temperature (from 35 to 170 °C in increments of one unit), the user also has the right to use the process start functions cooking, stopping it, a delayed timer and heating the finished dish (up to 12 hours in a row). Moreover, if you leave a mobile device at home with a pre-installed R4S Gateway application, you can access the multicooker settings from any corner of the globe, which is entangled in the "threads" of the World Wide Web.

smart cooking

The oven's own "brain" is trained in 17 cooking programs. It is proposed to switch between them, guided by the indications of a large informative display. A separate reason for pride is the proprietary Multi-Cook mode for cooking dishes according to your own recipes. By the way, an illustrated book with two hundred recipes is attached to the oven out of the box. Also included with the multicooker is a 5-liter bowl with Anato non-stick ceramic layer, spatula, ladle, measuring cup and container for steaming. Another significant trump card of the model is uniform 3D heating. Those. the bowl heats up not only from below, but also on the sides, due to which fast cooking is ensured. The model stands out from its peers as a bright spot, but it is overshadowed by a rising star named Redmond RMC-CBD100S, armed to the teeth with "smart" cooking technologies and even a built-in radio!
