I had been dreaming of getting a multicooker for a long time, but couldn't make up my mind on which one to choose. My classmate, who now lives in St. Petersburg, recommended the Redmond RMC-250 model. She works in a home appliance store and knows everything about them. Even though this multicooker is not one of the cheap ones, it is worth the money. I've only had it for a month, but I've tried cooking almost everything with it: I've made soups and borschts, brewed compotes, baked cakes, stewed vegetables, fish, and meat, prepared stuffed cabbage rolls, and fermented yogurt. In general, too many things to list. It came with a book of 200 recipes, but with the "Masterchef" function, I've created many of my own exclusive recipes. This multicooker has become a real discovery for me. My microwave broke down, and it turns out you can also use this multicooker to reheat food. I don't regret for a second that I chose this model. the first multi-cooker. in a few days, I tried: - steamed vegetables; - rice porridge with milk according to the recipe. surprised by the volume of milk, after cooking turned out liquid (set for another 20 minutes), next time I'll add less - soup - pilaf according to the recipe. maybe miscalculated the proportion of meat, put too much, after the program ended the rice on top was a bit tough. solved the problem by stirring and extending the cooking for another 10 minutes - steamed cutlets (chicken + zucchini for juiciness). I really liked the taste of everything! I'll keep experimenting further. I like the design, it somehow reminds me of a Minion =)
I quickly mastered the controls, although I haven't tried recording my programs yet. There are additional elements (spoons, tongs for removing food, fryer, racks for steaming dishes) It's great that you can adjust the program at any time. It's concerning that steam forms on the display during cooking (it goes away afterwards). There was a slight plastic smell at first, but it disappeared after treating it with vinegar as per the instructions. Not too many recipes available (only 120). When removing the aluminum lid under the steam valve for the first time, I couldn't put it back correctly for a while (I inserted it, closed the multi, pressed the open button - it wouldn't open, had to use a fork to pry it open). Learned from experience that you first need to place the top fastener in the slot, then press the lower ones until they click. There is a pro mode, master chef, you simply set any mode and adjust the cooking time to your preference, and it automatically remembers the last working time in each mode. no matter how you slice it, it steams when cooking, and the smells are intense... when you're hungry and it's cooking food, it's impossible to sit still, but on the downside, you have to place it so nothing spoils nearby from the steam. The black color is a bit impractical, stains and streaks are visible, white would be brighter and more convenient, you shouldn't choose such a color for the kitchen, the kitchen should be light. The bowl comes without handles and when the food is done and the bowl is hot, it's tricky to take it out, you have to pry it with a knife first and then grab it with a towel using your other hand, so it's better for no one to stand nearby. |
