RAIFIL Grando 5

The reverse osmosis system RAIFIL Grando 5 is engaged in a 5-stage purification of tap water, during which the smallest particles of pollution, harmful impurities, heavy metal ions, organic substances are removed from it and active chlorine is removed.

Often the model lives under the kitchen sink. The main part of the filter is attached to the walls of the cabinet under the sink, a 12-liter clean water tank is installed separately from it. Taking into account the filtration rate of about 0.13 L / min., RAIFIL Grando 5 spends a little more than an hour and a half to fill the tank “to the eyeballs”. The tap of the device cuts into the sink, through which you can quickly draw drinking water or wash vegetables and fruits under a purified stream of water.

5 stages of water purification

Now about the main thing. Deep cleaning with the participation of the system consists of 5 levels of water filtration. At the first stage, a 10 µm SC-10-10 cartridge in a transparent flask cuts off mechanical particles in the manner of sand and rust. At the second step, the GAC-10R-C activated carbon granule module is activated, which traps organic matter and chlorine-containing substances. Their remains are cleaned by the CBC-10-10 carbon block. The key link in the purification system is a reverse osmosis membrane that allows only water and oxygen molecules to pass through. At the final stage, the IL-11W-C carbon post-filter eliminates unpleasant odours and makes the water taste pleasant.

The RAIFIL Frando 5 comes standard with an electric pump. The pump ensures normal operation of the filter at low inlet pressure (less than 2.8 atm). The service life of the system cartridges ranges from six months to a year. The reverse osmosis membrane has the longest resource — 12K liters. Depending on the intensity of operation and the quality of water from the water supply, it will have to be changed approximately every 2-3 years.
