Smart Humidifier
One of Polaris' flagship humidifiers is equipped with a Wi-Fi module and supports remote control via the Internet. You need to install the Polaris IQ Home application on your smartphone, where, in addition to selecting modes and monitoring current operating parameters, you can create custom programs and a weekly schedule, provide information about consumables, etc.
The main control is represented by a touch panel with a screen showing the current humidity and air temperature in the room. Another option for interacting with Polaris PUH 9105 IQ Home is also possible — using the remote control.
High performance
It is recommended to use the model in rooms up to 45 m². In them, the device can quickly increase the humidity, because the peak performance reaches a solid 500 mL / h. In this case, the water tank often does not have to be filled, as it holds 5 liters.
In addition to traditional cold evaporation, a water heating function (warm steam) has been proposed: it is recommended to use it in children's rooms for additional hygienic treatment of the liquid. There is also ionization and a special compartment for adding aromatic oils (aromatization). They will create an atmosphere of freshness and pleasant smells in the room.
The kit also includes a special filter cartridge for cleaning hardness salts. It does not have to be changed often (5000 hours resource), but even with it it is recommended to use only pre-purified water.
7 speeds and wide range target humidity selection
By default, Polaris PUH 9105 IQ Home works in automatic mode: the device itself sets the optimal humidity, analyzing its current level and air temperature. By the way, the corresponding sensor is remote here (located on the power cord), but not far from the case, that is, the probability of errors is still quite high.
Other auto modes are also available: children (humidity 55%, warm steam and ionizer are on), night (usual automatic, but with a minimum display brightness) and health (for adults, humidity level 60%). In addition, it is easy to set the required target humidity in the range from 30 to 75% in 5 percent increments and choose one of 7 steam rates.
The disadvantage of the model is the high price. But given the variety of features and support for web-based management, the extra charge for the Polaris PUH 9105 IQ Home seems justified.
