When you look at the Polar brand backpack, its increased height (62 cm) is immediately noticeable. This is partly due to the possibility of transforming the model into a travel bag. And it's not just the presence of an additional side handle and a shoulder strap for horizontal carrying.

The full transformation of Polar P0258 into a bag provides the presence of a special compartment with a zipper, where the shoulder straps of the backpack are hidden. As a result, they will not interfere with the user and will not get dirty if you have to put the bag on the ground.

Plenty of space inside, special slings outside

The model holds up to 50 liters, which will be enough, for example, for a short business trip, weekend trips to nature and other outdoor activities. In the main compartment, it is proposed to carry a laptop with a diagonal of 15": a special compartment with a soft protective lining is provided. Also available and the minimum required set of pockets with zippers: front, side and bottom.

MOLLE straps are sewn in on the front, top and sides. They, like the equipment loops proposed here, provide the possibility of external fixation of various “body kit”.

Ready for the rain

The backpack is made of polyester with a special water-repellent impregnation. It is claimed to have high tear and/or abrasion resistance. And in case of heavy rain, a rain cover is included in the package. Plus, the creators did not forget about the ventilation of the back, side fasteners and a waist belt to relieve stress from the spine.

Polar P0258 weighs 1.7 kg, which should be attributed to shortcomings (as for the claimed capacity). But the disadvantages are the absence of a chest strap and only the side opening of the main compartment, which will not be convenient in all cases.

Polar P0258 is a universal assistant that can serve as both a backpack and a bag for hiking, hunting or fishing, and other trips.
