The Philips LivingColors Iris device is not quite suitable as a classic lamp, as the main task of this smart lamp is to create an atmosphere in the room by highlighting its walls with any color from a 16-million color palette.
Richness of Colors
The lamp, shaped like a transparent hemisphere, is placed on a flat surface so that its beveled edge faces the wall. The main light comes from the flat part of the lamp, while the rest of the sphere's surface gently diffuses it. You can manually choose the lamp's glow color to match your mood, and the user also has access to an auto color-changing mode. All lamp settings are adjusted using the remote control.
Remote Control
The surface of the round remote has a spectral palette, and its "body" features a color selection ring and a couple of quick access buttons for favorite shades. The remote is powered by two AA batteries, while the lamp itself is powered from a 220V outlet. Moreover, the power cord is firmly attached to the lamp.
Special Atmosphere
With the smart lamp, you can create any desired atmosphere in the room — from festive to intimate with dimmed colors.
