In short, no. I do not recommend it. There is clearly some defect with the battery, which is acknowledged by the service center. Out of 10 months of use, two months were spent waiting for the service center. Great sound, connects to many devices. Design. Among the simplest issues - no protective case, paint quickly wears off the metal (my speaker is red). I bought the speaker in March 2016 in Odessa, and by August it stopped charging, meaning it worked for six months without problems. I took it to a service center, and they said it couldn't be repaired, so they replaced it with a new one. Then I moved to Sweden, and there the speaker stopped charging again at the end of September, meaning it worked for two months. I went to the Philips service center in Sweden, and again they said it couldn't be repaired and replaced it with a new one. It's now December 30th. It has stopped charging again... The charging indicator is red and that's it. Each time I went to the service center, I had to wait from 3 to 6 weeks. And now with the holidays coming up, I'm without sound again. Another downside with "older devices" is the significant deterioration in sound quality. In my case, there was terrible sound from my old MacBookPro. It connected fine with IPhone, Ipad, Ipod, and various phone models. use Philips BT-6600 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
This is a super speaker. It sounds very good and balanced, perhaps I would like it to be a little louder, but this is in comparison with larger jbls. The included charging dock is not very well thought out, because if you charge and listen to music, the speaker spins due to the bass and can fall.
