Model overview based on user reviews
The Panasonic NN-DF383BZPE microwave is a versatile appliance that combines the functions of a microwave and an oven, offering a powerful 1000 W performance with inverter technology and no rotating tray, which ensures even cooking. Users appreciate its ability to bake and cook a variety of dishes, such as vegetables and casseroles, with excellent results. However, some users find the controls a bit confusing and the operation noisy. While the design and heating speed are praised, there are concerns about reliability, as some units experienced defects like short circuits or burning out after a short period. The service response to these issues has been mixed, with some users facing challenges in warranty claims. Overall, the model is well-regarded for its cooking capabilities but has had some quality control issues.

Overall, the Panasonic NN-DF383BZPE leaves a mixed impression. There are interesting features (like the drop-down door, sensor reheating, lack of a turntable), but at the same time, there are several illogical details in behavior, control, and quality that could have been implemented more smartly or with higher quality. Over time, you get used to most aspects, but certain shortcomings remain noticeable. In terms of size, considering the oven function—it's practically unmatched. Compared to the LG ML-2381 FP (800W), the Panasonic NN-DF383BZPE actually heats food about 15–20% faster. Although the door doesn't open fully to 90°, no inconvenience was noticed compared to the LG ML-2381 FP. Drop-down doors are simply a must-have! The absence of a turntable can sometimes be an advantage, but in fact, such situations arise quite rarely. Defrosting is indeed more even. The sensor heating works effectively—the food essentially reaches boiling point and the heating turns off automatically, but in practice, it's almost not used because everyone has their own habits and ideal reheating temperature. I would rate the oven function as average, it's clear that in a full-fledged oven the baking quality is noticeably better, there are certain inconsistencies here and so on, but it roughly meets expectations (+ you can adjust over time). Lacks convection. There is no option to start heating with a single press of the Start button for 30 seconds with further increments of 30 seconds each. You can't add a few seconds once you've pressed Start — only minutes (which is nonsense). The Start button is touch-sensitive, doesn't light up, and isn't highlighted tactilely — inconvenient in the dark. When reused within 5 minutes after the previous cycle, the fan continues to run idle for a few more minutes — confusing and annoying (I understand why this is done, but it could have been implemented much more intelligently rather than with dumb logic!). In inverter mode, the microwave doesn't work at all power levels. The ceramic coating requires careful handling and more frequent cleaning to avoid burning through. If you use the baking mode a few times a month and slide the tray back and forth, chips and damage to the interior coating appear fairly quickly. The difference between an inverter and a regular microwave in the evenness of heating is almost unnoticeable. The menu, control principle, and operation logic are far from perfect — the LG ML-2381 seemed much more logical, convenient, and predictable. |
for 10 years of operation, they have been squeezed out to the fullest and in all modes - a microwave, a grill, an oven, and all this time the gas stove oven was used exclusively as a place for storage. after the first for all these 10 years but a fatal breakdown (the bottom burned out), the same one was ordered. service life price |
A powerful microwave that combines the function of an oven. The model is interesting because it does not have a rotating tray and the food is heated up like in an oven and comes out more evenly. If you don’t have an oven, then I think it’s a perfectly acceptable option. Probably a real oven is better, but to be honest, I don’t see much of a difference, everything cooks quite well, bakes and doesn’t dry out as it should. Baking is generally excellent, I bake vegetables, make meat, cottage cheese casseroles and everything else, it turns out delicious, I can’t complain. A little confusing controls. There is no such thing as a quick press and it goes to work; you still want more simplicity and efficiency from a microwave. Very noisy when working. use Panasonic NN-DF383BZPE month or more i recommend it should buy |
