Osprey Farpoint 70 70 L

Designed for 70 liters, the Osprey backpack can be called a travel kit, which involves various use cases. This is due to the presence of a separate removable backpack and support for the transformation of the Farpoint 70 into a travel bag.

Detachable backpack 13 liters

The small backpack is attached by default from the front. It can be easily removed from the Osprey Farpoint 70 by unfastening two fastex fasteners. Fixation is also possible as a kangaroo backpack, that is, in front on the main straps. This option is preferable if valuables are placed inside or you need quick access to the content.

The small backpack holds 13 liters, has a ventilated back, chest strap and clever storage system. On top there is a compact pocket with soft upholstery to prevent scratches. It is worth putting glasses or a mobile device here. A pair of mesh open pockets flaunt from the front. The main compartment of the small backpack has a tablet pocket and a padded compartment for a laptop (up to 15").

Transformation into a bag

Osprey Farpoint 70 easily converts into a travel bag. And it's not just the presence of a side handle for horizontal carrying. So, the anatomical back with shoulder straps, chest strap and waist belt can be hidden in a special compartment with a zipper. Accordingly, these elements will not interfere with the user, will not get dirty and/or damaged (at the airport or on the train).

The internal organization of the backpack space is also similar to modern suitcases. Single compartment opens wide for easy access to contents. To fix things, special slings are offered. Plus, there is a zippered mesh pocket inside where dirty things or something else can be placed.

For hiking and more

The marching status of the model is confirmed by high-quality and durable materials of manufacture, the presence of front and bottom ties, belts for equipment. But note that the backrest here is not rigid and is not adjustable in height, which means that for heavy loads (over 15 kg) it will not be as convenient to use it as most analogues.

But for easy and/or short hikes, the Osprey Farpoint 70 is great. Plus, the model is useful both on business trips or air travel, and in everyday urban use (small removable backpack).
