Oromed ORO-SZ

The original desktop mechanical tonometer with a universal cuff on the shoulder and a large professional dial gauge (200x200 mm) on a stand. It is intended for measurement of systolic and diagnostic pressure in medical institutions. In addition, it can also be used at home. Records blood pressure in the brachial artery using the Korotkoff method, which is recognized worldwide and is the standard of accuracy (WHO reference method).

The advantages of this technique include resistance to heart rhythm disturbance (arrhythmia does not interfere with obtaining an accurate result), minimal sensitivity to hand movements and slight vibration. Thanks to manual control, the Oromed ORO-SZ mechanical blood pressure monitor allows you to obtain more accurate results than those recorded by automatic blood pressure monitors using the oscillometric method.

It should be added that the Korotkoff method requires some training/practice and cannot be fully used by people with hearing impairments and/or poor vision. There are no electronic components in the design of the device, so the tonometer does not require power and is always ready for use. Supplied with a bench-top pressure gauge unit in an eye-catching plastic case, a comfortable cuff with a long coiled cord, and a blower with a needle valve.
