Norfin Glan 3

The model of the Latvian brand Norfin has the shape of a semi-barrel. Due to its relative compactness (3x1.8 metres) and low height (105 cm), the tent is not afraid of wind loads and is not inferior in this indicator to hemispherical counterparts.

Two entrances and one vestibule

Two inputs / outputs in Norfin Glan 3 will allow you not to wake the sleeping person when you need to get out into the street. This design also contributes to effective ventilation, plus for efficient air circulation, the model is supplemented with two ventilation windows with protective valves. Both entrances are duplicated with mosquito nets, and one of them provides a capacious trapezoidal vestibule with a depth of 90 cm: there is definitely enough space for all the equipment of three tourists.

The dimensions of the sleeping place are 210x180 cm: it turns out 60 cm wide for each. The height of the inner tent is 1 metre, which is something tall buyers should definitely pay attention to. The equipment includes pockets for storing small items and a hook for hanging the lantern on the ceiling.

Strong and resistant materials

The frame of Norfin Glan 3 is formed by two fibreglass arcs with a diameter of 8.5 mm. Side braces with a reflective coating are designed to strengthen the wind protection. The outer tent is made of polyester with reinforced RipStop tear protection and a water resistance of 4000mm. The seams of the fabric are taped. The bottom is made of Oxford polyester fabric with a moisture resistance of 6000 mm. The inner tent is also made of polyester, but with a breathable composition that prevents condensation.

The model weighs 3.9 kg. This is also due to the fact that the kit comes with steel, and not aluminium pegs, like many analogues. In the case, the tent is not too bulky (57x15x15 cm)

The Norfin Glan 3 is a good choice for mid-price trekking, able to compete with its hemispherical counterparts in most criteria.
