A voltage converter that converts 12 V DC into 230 V AC at 50 Hz. Using a car battery (or battery pack) and the Mystery MAC-500 inverter, you can create an autonomous (backup) power supply system that can handle a load of up to 500 W (pulse surges of up to 1000 W are allowed). The output signal has the form of a modified sine wave. Thus, this device can be used to power various types of small household or computer equipment from a battery, except for devices that are particularly sensitive to current quality. To connect the inverter to a car battery, use wires with "crocodile" clips that are easily and securely fixed to the battery terminals. The body has one standard 230 V socket and one USB port.
