A mechanical keyboard that works well in both gaming and everyday tasks.
22 December 2025
I've been using the MSI Forge GK310 as my main keyboard for my PC for some time now, and it leaves a very pleasant impression. It's a mid-range mechanical model that's suitable for gaming, typing or everyday work.

The first notable advantage is the tactile feedback of the keys. The buttons press clearly without any soft "empty" movements, making typing and gaming actions predictable and accurate. Even after long typing sessions, my hands don't feel fatigued, and the noise from the keypresses isn't too sharp, although it's mechanical and not quiet by default.

The keyboard design is strict and understated — without unnecessary frills, it has a matte surface that doesn't shine or collect fingerprints. It has backlighting, which is bright and even, with several modes that can be switched directly on the device, adding convenience when gaming in the dark or evening.

The presence of multimedia keys and quick-access function buttons is definitely useful. The keyboard connects standardly via USB, and the system recognizes it instantly — I haven't noticed any issues or delays in operation.

Affordable Premium

The MSI Forge GK310 keyboard combines thoughtful ergonomics with functionality rarely found in affordable models. One of its key advantages is the support for Hot Swap technology, allowing for quick switch replacement — the package includes three spare switches and a tool for their removal. The device is based on linear red switches, characterized by smooth operation, low noise, and minimal pressing force. This mechanics provides comfort for long text typing as well as active gaming sessions. The advertised lifespan is 60 million keystrokes, confirming the solution's high reliability. The keycaps are made using Double Shot technology, ensuring the symbols do not wear off and remain clear throughout the device's lifespan. The keyboard construction includes a reinforced aluminum plate and a magnetic cover, providing easy maintenance and extra protection.

Office and Gaming Modes

The MSI Forge GK310 easily adapts to different usage scenarios thanks to its three additional buttons and proprietary multifunctional wheel. It controls both the RGB lighting and volume, providing quick access to settings. Users have access to a variety of lighting effects and can create their own profiles. The keyboard supports gaming technologies and switches between NKRO and 6KRO modes, helping to avoid accidental key presses during office work and ensuring accurate keystroke registration in games. Additionally, using the proprietary software, users can control tracks, create macros, and personalize the device to fit their own needs.
