Meizu Note 9 128 GB / 4 GB (M923H-128)
Photos 7 | Outdated Product The device with the name Note 9, which entered the arena at the dawn of spring 2019, is called upon to win back the former authority of Meizu in the segment of strong mid-rangers. The model captivates, no matter how trite it may sound, with a winning combination of price and decoration. When “building” the screen of the device, the Chinese Meizu engineers resorted to the popular trick with a waterdrop notch for the front camera. In general, the model's display is characterized by a resolution of 2244x1080 pixels with a 6.2-inch diagonal and proportions of 18.7:9. Inside the Meizu Note 9 128GB / 4GB, an eight-core Snapdragon 675 processor is installed, the strength of which is more than enough not only to quickly turn over everyday tasks, but also to launch mobile toys with graphics setting...s close to the maximum. In the photographic role, the device relies on a combination of 48 + 5 MP cameras from the rear (with the Samsung GM1 master module), as well as a 20 MP front camera. The smartphone will not let you down in terms of battery life either — a 4000 mAh battery with support for 18-watt fast charging will allow the device to stay afloat longer. |

Strong middle peasant
Meizu Note 9 is a strong mid-ranger that was created with the idea of winning a piece of the pie in the sub-$200 segment from Xiaomi, Huawei and Samsung. The smartphone turned out to be quite strong and productive, but without any frills or unusual features: a dual camera, a large IPS screen, USB C and fifth-generation wireless modules. But it’s good enough that the wireless communication modules here are the most up-to-date, so the smartphone will not lose connection in places with dense coverage.
6.2-inch Full View display
Meizu ignored screen cutouts for a long time, but Note 9 received a 6.2-inch Full View display with a resolution of 2244x1080 pixels and a drop-shaped cutout for the front camera. Moreover, the cutout is barely noticeable and practically does not take up any useful space on the screen. It also has a barely noticeable chin to match - competitors like Redmi Note 7 will have a thicker bottom frame.
No brakes
The filling here is for your money: Snapdragon 675, 4 GB of RAM, Adreno 612 graphics and built-in storage of 128 GB. There is no support for memory cards, but taking into account the available stock and the class of the smartphone, it would be hard to call this a minus. In general, there is enough filling for 20 tabs in the browser, and for social networks, and for toys of the caliber of PUBG. Not at maximum settings, but you can play at medium settings.
Good dual camera
In terms of camera, Meizu Note 9 looks like it's worth its money - it has a main 48-megapixel (ƒ/1.7) camera complemented by a 5-megapixel bokeh sensor and that's it. There is no telephoto, ultra-wide-angle or macro camera here. As well as reasons for regret, because if you move away from the numbers, the photo capabilities of the smartphone turned out to be a strong five. Pictures during the day come out quite juicy and do not turn into junk, but when shooting at night, the quality drops, as with most smartphones of this level. The only thing I didn’t like was that when artificial intelligence is turned on, it often overplays HDR, highlighting the pictures. It turns out bright, but not natural.
Among other positive aspects, we note the surprisingly high-quality voice speaker and an accurate fingerprint scanner, which never glitched or froze during the entire period of use.
