Grass collection and mulching

Makita PLM 4120N provides two operating modes. To bring the lawn in order after long pauses, it is recommended to collect the grass in a 50-liter complete bag. The grass catcher has a hard plastic top and a soft bottom, which increases comfort in operation and storage.

Practical engine

The 4-stroke Briggs & Stratton 500 engine is responsible for rotating the cutting tool at speeds up to 2800 rpm. A power of 2.6 horsepower is enough in most cases. Only with tall and thick grass, as users note, does the speed of the power unit drop slightly, and additional passes have to be made in such areas. This feature is offset by the good manoeuvrability of the device.

The fuel tank capacity of 0.8 liters is enough for at least one mowing in the recommended area.

Simple adjustments

The smallest grass height that the Makita PLM 4120N allows you to achieve is 25 mm, and the largest is 70 mm. In total, the user is offered 5 options for settings that are set immediately for all wheels with one lever. The height of the handle can be easily adjusted to the height of a particular user.
