Good tool

The Angle grinder Makita DGA504RFE is a prime example of a solid cordless tool. Inside the robust, impact-resistant plastic housing is a state-of-the-art brushless motor. This is not just a tribute to fashion, but a completely justified decision. Brushless motors do not burn out when the disc is jammed (electronic protection is triggered) and consume battery power more efficiently. Although there is no exact methodology for measuring the power of a cordless tool, it can be said that in terms of performance this angle grinder approximately corresponds to a 700-watt mains angle grinder.

Turnovers are stable, energy consumption is at a minimum

An interesting difference from other models is the presence of a speed maintenance function. The spindle speed remains constant, regardless of the load. This allows you to rationally use the battery charge (there are two of them in the case with the tool) and work at a consistently high speed. Although the capacity of standard batteries is not impressive (3 Ah), finding more capacious Makita batteries is not at all difficult.

Of the minuses, we can note the start button, which is traditionally unsuccessful for Makita battery grinders. It is located on top, not under the thumb, so turning the tool on and off is not very convenient.

Installers will appreciate

If during work you use the grinder often, but not too intensively, then the Makita DGA504RFE will easily become your favorite tool. It is compact, moderately powerful and does not depend on wires. With the help of such an angle grinder, it is convenient to cut cable channels during the installation of electrical networks, cut thin copper and plastic tubes to fit in place, clean welds in hard-to-reach places and perform other minor operations.
