Claimed to meet U.S. military standard MIL-STD-810G for extended temperature performance and basic water resistance (protection against spilling liquid on the keyboard). Increased wear resistance of moving parts of the body and hinges is claimed. The high-capacity rechargeable battery gives up to 12 hours of battery life and charges up to 80% in just 1 hour. Increased security is provided by TPM 2.0 hardware encryption module, a fingerprint scanner for reliable biometric identification and a mechanical HD webcam shutter.
