Electricity is generated by a copper-winding synchronous alternator and automatic voltage regulator (AVR). The output voltage can be monitored using an analog (pointer) voltmeter mounted on the front panel. The generator has two 230 V sockets for connecting electricity consumers and a 12 V output, which can be used to recharge car batteries.
