A flash drive is just a flash drive; the body is metal, but in thickness, it's closer to foil :) Don't expect it to be indestructible :) As for the claimed speeds, I measured with large files of 6-7GB using an SSD. Write speeds are 33-40MB/s (though the readings jump twice per second). Reading starts at 171MB/s and ends at 150MB/s. Overall, it's better than its counterparts at the same price, like the 64GB SanDisk, which starts writing at 25MB/s, then heats up after 10 seconds and drops to 13-15MB/s. For home use and considering its price, it will do, but of course, it would be nice to see at least 80-85% of the claimed write speed. Super fast in reading. The Win image is dropped onto the PC where the OS is installed in 15 seconds. And in recording...alas, like all flash drives on TLC memory, 20-30 MB/s Excellent real read speed of about 190 MB/s. There is a 600 MB buffer with a write speed of 70-80 MB/s For about 10 years now, flash drives in the mid-price category have not been able to break away in recording above 20-30 MB/s. i do not recommend it, I will return it and get my money back. no the box says the flash drive has a capacity of 128 GB, but in reality, it has 115 GB. Where are the other 13 GB? Zolik: use Kingston DataTraveler Kyson 128Gb less than month |
