A high-performance Internet centre (router) supporting a fast wireless network in two frequency bands, the ability to connect 3G/4G (LTE) USB modems and a Combo RJ-45/SFP connector for connecting an ultra-fast fibre optic line. It is positioned as a top solution in the line of consumer network equipment. Designed for fully functional connection of an apartment, house or small office to the global network via a cable line of the 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet standard or an optical cable. An incoming connection via an external wireless access point (WISP mode) is also possible. It can be used when connecting to the network of suburban objects, deprived of access to cable lines. The Keenetic Ultra KN-1810 router is equipped with a MediaTek MT7621AT dual-core processor (880 MHz, USB controllers...and a 5-port Gigabit Ethernet switch) and two MT7615N chips responsible for wireless communication. Thanks to the latter circumstance, both Wi-Fi bands (2.4 / 5 GHz) can operate according to the 4T4R scheme with 256-QAM modulation. With compatible clients, this allows you to enjoy the highest connection speeds up to 1733 Mbps (5 GHz) and up to 800 Mbps (2.4 GHz). Two USB ports make it possible to use 3G / 4G and ADSL modems, and when installing the Keenetic Plus DECT module, the router turns into a base DECT telephone station for 6 handsets. Supports all current security protocols.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Keenetic Ultra KN-1810 is a highly reliable router, often compared to a "Toyota Prado" for its durability. It offers excellent reception and transmission, covering large apartments or houses without needing amplifiers, even through multiple walls. The router supports dual-band Wi-Fi, providing speeds of up to 800 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 1733 Mbps on 5 GHz. It features high-quality software and a robust hardware setup, including a MediaTek MT7621A CPU and 256 MB of RAM. However, users have noted that it has limited LAN ports, which can be a drawback for those who prefer wired connections. The antennas are not removable, which some users find less flexible. Despite its higher price, it is seen as a worthwhile investment for its performance and reliability. Users are looking forward to future versions with Wi-Fi 6 capabilities.

I bought a few gadgets on WiFi6 - I'm thinking, maybe I should upgrade this router…

The top model of Kinetics at the time of purchase in 2019. Before that, since 2003, I had the legendary Asus WL500gP — it’s still working (that’s the Toyota Prado in the router world). But suddenly in 2019, I found out that this router had become slightly outdated. I needed a new "Toyota Prado" in the world of routers. I spent a long time choosing and watching reviews. I settled on the Kinetic Ultra. I needed maximum reliability with double or even triple durability...

It's mounted on the wall behind a 77’’ OLED TV. It somewhat lacks ports. I am used to connecting devices by cable whenever possible, as it is usually better. Currently, behind the TV on the wall, there is a PS4, Apple TV, the TV itself, and an additional cable for the PC, totaling 4 occupied ports. Now, PS5, Xbox, and other peripherals have to be connected via WiFi. If there were more LAN ports, I would connect them by cable.
Few LAN ports. Would like 6 pcs or more.

A device that performs its functions 100%
Reception and transmission are excellent. Never hung up! Girth of the entire apartment without the need for amplifiers (up to three load-bearing walls). High-quality software.
Price. (I was lucky to take the stock for 7400)

Waiting for the next version with Wi-Fi 6, it will be my third Kinetik, although this one is satisfactory.

Cool.
Works well.
Antennas are not removable, so it's okay, but I think removable ones are cooler.
