An unusual gutta-percha tripod clings to anything with its flexible legs. It can be attached to a tree, pole, railing, used in a classic role or turned into a kind of selfie stick — all this is done easily and naturally.

Gutta-percha stand

The design of the mini tripod is based on 30 flexible swivel joints (10 for each leg) made of high quality plastic. The legs of the Jobby GorillaPod SLR-Zoom flex and swivel to any position, allowing them to be wrapped around an object of the right diameter or shaped to fit the tripod on uneven surfaces.

compactness

Despite its modest size, the model can withstand a bunch of cameras with a lens weighing up to 3 kg. One has only to take into account that the stability of the tripod at maximum load is not the most reliable. But with proper folding, the Jobby GorillaPod SLR-Zoom takes up a minimum of space in the transport position, easily fitting into the medium-sized lens compartment on board the photo bag.

Unseen angles

When using a tripod, the camera is raised to a height of up to 23 cm above the fulcrum. With a ball head, the tripod grows up by another 7 cm. But it is not always included in the standard package. Together with a tripod, hitherto unseen camera angles are opened up from positions that were simply impossible to imagine.
