Nice and comfortable
The plastic case of compact dimensions (90x69x111 mm) in bright red colours with black rubberized inserts not only looks modern and attractive, but also withstands accidental drops.
The light weight (332 g) makes it easy to use, and the cubic shape guarantees a secure installation on the surface. At the bottom of the body there is a thread for mounting on a tripod 1/4", and any camera will do.
The level functions without problems at temperatures from -10 to +40 °C, and is not afraid of sudden changes.
Functionality
The device projects 1 horizontal and 1 vertical beams intersecting at a right angle, as well as each of them separately. The emitter allows you to project a horizontal beam 360º around the entire perimeter of the room. The brightness of the red laser is enough to work at a distance of up to 10 metres — perfect for repairing an apartment, house, office.
The MT-3052 can be operated with or without the self-leveling function. If the deflection angle is less than 4°, the function will align the lines in 5 seconds. But the accuracy of the device does not indulge. Deviation at 10 metres reaches 5 mm.
Equipment and food
But pleases the battery life of the device and unpretentiousness in terms of energy consumption, 4 AA batteries (included) are enough for about 15 hours.
The level is delivered in a cardboard box, without a case. But for such a price, it would be indecent to require it in the kit.
MT-3052 is a good inexpensive assistant at the disposal of the home master.
