Model overview based on user reviews
The Hyundai T2000-E cultivator is a powerful electric gardening tool designed for small to medium-sized areas, up to 6 acres. It features a 2000 W electric motor that operates quietly, making it suitable for residential areas. Users appreciate its ability to achieve a soil cultivation depth of 20-23 cm in a single pass, although it requires some effort and technique, such as rocking the cultivator from side to side. The cultivator is equipped with 4 saber-shaped cutters, though some users note that the actual diameter is 25 cm instead of the stated 28 cm. While the cultivator is effective on well-maintained soils, it may struggle with heavier or virgin soils compared to gasoline models. The design includes a front transport wheel and adjustable handle height, but some users find the wheel size insufficient for optimal maneuverability. Overall, the Hyundai T2000-E is a reliable option for those preferring electric models, offering quiet operation and decent soil preparation for smaller gardens.
Pros

Cons

Conflicting impressions.
1 May 2014
This cultivator will be suitable for my 400 square meters. I don’t like gasoline units. I have a Makita 1000W electric trimmer and a Makita 2kW electric chainsaw; they handle their tasks. I try to buy tools for specific tasks. I'm not imposing my opinion in any way, for those who prefer gasoline models, please feel free to buy them; they are more powerful, work well on virgin soil, and handle plowing faster, requiring less time for soil processing.
Supplement to the review from February 17, 2014. Used this cultivator on May 1, 2014, on the soil. The impressions are mixed. Better than with a shovel, but worse than a mole with a gasoline engine.

For small areas up to 6 acres, I think it can be used. But don't expect this cultivator to be particularly swift. You can achieve a depth of 20-23 cm in one pass, but slowly, not like with heavy cultivators. In all videos posted on this site, the cultivator jumps, which is due to inexperienced handling. You need to use the coulter correctly, immerse it, and by rocking the cultivator from side to side, the tines are embedded to the desired depth, then lift the coulter, and the cultivator moves forward about 7 cm, and then you immerse the coulter again and rock the cultivator from side to side. It's a tiring task, but it's worth it for a single pass to the desired depth. I tried doing it in two passes, first at 15 cm, then up to 23 cm, and it sinks; it doesn't move forward well, there's no support on the front wheel, the wheel sinks into the cultivated soil. It works quietly; the neighbors didn’t immediately realize I was working with a cultivator. The safety feature is a good thing; as soon as the tines hit an obstacle (like a large stone in the soil), the safety feature immediately triggers and cuts the engine power. A couple of times, I hit a brick and the garden bed border. The soil is loose and soft after using the cultivator; I never had soil like this with a shovel. I haven't tried weighting the cultivator, although I thought about it after the purchase.
There is no carrying handle for the cultivator on the front part above the transport wheel, like on the "Texas" electric cultivator (almost a clone of Hyundai or vice versa). I'm thinking of rigging one myself. During the first use, I had to tighten the clutch cable twice (either the cable stretches or the belt stretches), even though I adjusted the clutch before plowing. The blades could have been made with a diameter of 28 cm, I think the engine would handle it. With protective discs, it doesn't bite into the ground well; they act as limiters, with the blades not reaching the discs by 5 cm on each side, hanging on hard soil and not allowing the blades to dig to the necessary depth. I removed them almost immediately, and things improved. It buries weeds, unlike large gasoline models, which throw large roots above. For greenhouses, I don't think it's very suitable; the wheel in front doesn't allow working the corners of the greenhouse (unless it's a large greenhouse or the wheel can be removed).
It’s too early to draw conclusions, I’m waiting for spring, then everything will become clear.
17 February 2014
The processing depth is stated to be up to 25 cm. But I think that the diameter of the cutters is 3 cm less than stated and the depth will be less. Maximum 20cm. I don’t expect miracles from a cultivator. I knew that electric models are not for heavy soils or large areas. I have a garden of 4 acres and the land has been cultivated with a shovel for 20 years, not fluff, of course, but not loam either. I think that in 2 passes I will cultivate the soil with this cultivator.
The electric motor without load (with mounted cutters) operates very quietly. Haven't used it on soil yet. I bought this unit in February 2014 through an online store.
The diameter of the cutters is not 28 cm as stated, but only 25 cm.
The working width is not 55 cm, but only 45 cm.
I measured the width by installing the cutters on the cultivator, from the very left point of the cutter blade on the left side of the cultivator to the farthest point of the cutter blade on the right side, and it is 45 cm. How can this cultivator cultivate soil more by 10 cm?

normal model, nothing special

Supplement to the review from 01.05.2014. Using the unit for the second season. I replaced the bar for attaching the operator's handles to the frame of the cultivator. I took a profile pipe 50/50 and made this bar with a crossbar out of it. The old one was bending a lot, as mentioned in the previous review. The cutters are of course a bit small, 25 cm in diameter, if they were 28 cm, it would be easier to handle this cultivator. It moves forward slowly if you process to a depth of 23-25 cm, it buries into the ground and until you pull out the coulter and put pressure on the wheel, it doesn't move forward (this is visible in the video). For this method of soil processing, the wheel needs to be larger in diameter and wider, otherwise the wheel sinks into the soil or, when it hits even a small "bump," it doesn't move further. I want to attach a wheel with a larger diameter of 18 cm and a width of 5.5 cm. With side discs, I tried turning the cultivator to the already plowed section. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? I would like to see a video of the work with this cultivator, from someone who uses it, but not like in other videos where it is dragged back and forth or where it jumps like a racehorse.

Powerful and quiet gardening equipment

The Hyundai T2000-E network electric cultivator belongs to the upper price segment of the dacha class of agricultural machinery and, in terms of its functionality, with the exception of the range, is not much inferior to the average models with internal combustion engines. The device is equipped with a powerful 2000 W electric motor, which ensures efficient processing of beds on loamy, sandy and well-groomed soils. Despite the high power, the engine, surprisingly, works without excessive noise (82 dB). The excellent electrical characteristics of the Hyundai branded motor make low demands on the parameters of the connecting cable, which can be safely used for connection. The device works without problems with wires of small cross section (1.5 mm²).

Among electromotive devices, the cultivator looks bulky and heavy (30 kg). Decent weight and large dimensions have a worse effect on the handling and manoeuvrability of the machine, but have a beneficial effect on the maximum width and depth of loosening (45x26 cm). Rotation from the engine is transmitted to a reliable chain gearbox with the participation of a V-belt clutch. The manufacturer assures that less than 5% of the engine torque is lost, which allows the maximum use of the potential of the power plant. The use of a clutch mechanism, as well as the presence of an opener, brings this model closer to "adult" gasoline two-wheel tractors. Included with the cultivator are 4 saber-shaped cutters made of forged steel Ø 28 cm and disk bevelers, which are installed in pairs on both sides of the gearbox.

clutch mechanism

A small transport wheel is mounted on the front bracket of the garden machine, and a height-adjustable V-handle mounting beam is mounted on the rear of the frame. The control panel is mounted under the right handle. It has a plug for connecting a network cable, as well as an accidental start lock button and an engine start lever, which must be pressed simultaneously when starting the motor. Under the left hand is a clutch lever, pressing which transmits rotation to the working cutters. In general, the cultivator meets the expectations of users and handles well with work in small areas up to 10 acres.
