The heart of the Hikvision HiWatch DS-I253M 2.8 mm surveillance camera is a 2-megapixel matrix and optics with a fixed focal length of 2.8 mm, providing wide viewing angles (114 degrees horizontally). Video recording is carried out with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels at a frequency of 25 frames per second. For night shooting, IR illumination is proposed, plus DWDR + BLC backlight compensation technologies and 3D DNR noise reduction are designed to improve picture quality. In addition, it is poss...ible to adjust the area of interest, including in order to reduce the video bitrate and save free space on drives.
