The Hansa cooking surface is made of stainless steel and has a characteristic silver colour. It looks nice, is durable and easy to clean from dirt, although it is considered a very brand, because it collects fingerprints.

The Hansa BHMI611302 controls are located on the front and are represented by four rotary switches that will not cause much trouble in cleaning.

Excellent gas kit

The hob has acquired a trio of gas burners that can satisfy almost any household need. So, on the left rear there is a standard zone with a diameter of 7.4 mm and a power equivalent of 1.8 kW. On the left front “flaunts” a 13.8-cm WOK turbo burner for 2.8 kW. It is useful for cooking Asian food and/or boiling water quickly. The front right burner with a diameter of 5.3 cm and a power of 1 kW is considered auxiliary: it is suitable for making Turkish coffee, heating food for a child, etc.

For the stability of the dishes, a pair of large cast-iron grates is provided, covering the entire work surface together. Plus, the functions of auto-ignition and gas control that have already become mandatory today have been implemented.

Electric heating zone

In case of problems with gas, the model provides one 14.5 cm electric burner. But it should be considered precisely as a spare, since the maximum power is only 1 kW. In addition, this is not the most efficient and durable cast-iron “pancake”. But given the low price of the device, Hansa BHMI611302 is an interesting choice, attracting primarily with its good set of gas burners.
