The Irish company Greenell has been specializing in the production of tents, rugs, camping furniture and tableware for many years. Tent Greenell Elf 2 v.3 is affordable, good for walking on the weekend, not long trips.

Compact but roomy

The hemispherical shape is covered with a polyester awning in bright green or discreet brown. The construction dimensions are 200x153x123 cm. The tent looks compact and nice. Inside, you can freely sit together, the height contributes, and the width, if desired, allows you to fit not only two, but also three.

Technical capabilities

The framework is formed by two fibreglass arches with a diameter of 8 mm. To increase durability , there are additional stretch marks, they help to keep a roof over your head even in a heavy wind.

The tent is two-layer, with one entrance, but there is practically no vestibule, you can put one or two pairs of shoes, nothing more. For travelers by car, this is not critical, but for hikers on long trips it will be inconvenient.

The awning is impregnated with a refractory composition, has UV protection and a water resistance index of 4000 mm. The bottom is made of durable and waterproof Taurpauling material.

The seams are sealed. This means that a sudden downpour will not interfere with your rest, it will be dry inside the tent even with heavy rain.

There is one window for ventilation. The mosquito net keeps out mosquitoes and the wind flap keeps out splashes of rain. Small items can be stowed in the inside pockets or placed on a hanging shelf. It is convenient to hang the lantern on a special loop.

In the case, the dimensions of the tent are 60x15x15 cm, which is a lot in length for shoulder equipment. Add here another weight of 3.3 kg and we conclude that the tent is not so convenient for hiking.
