Inexpensive brushless screwdriver with high torque

Although Graphite tools generally belong to the consumer segment, some of the brand's members boast features and functions typically found only in professional-grade products. Take, for example, the Graphite 58G024 screwdriver. It is equipped with a modern brushless motor. In addition, this screwdriver has a very high torque (up to 200 Nm), which allows you to tighten large screws all the way and unscrew fasteners that are “stuck” due to corrosion. And at the same time, the tool, despite the large torque, does not twist the hand, since it is equipped with a pulse impact mechanism. Thanks to these features, you can effortlessly work with large screws and screws, holding the screwdriver with one hand (especially since it is quite light - only 1.1 kg without taking into account the weight of the battery).

Three speeds are better than one

Another “trick” that is rarely found even in much more expensive screwdrivers is the presence of three operating speeds. “Gears” differ in the speed of rotation of the cartridge (1000, 1800 and 2700 rpm), the frequency of impacts (1400, 2520 and 3780 bpm) and, most importantly, in torque (80, 120 and 200 Nm) . The presence of several “gears” allows you to select the optimal operating mode, based on the size of the fastener and the characteristics of the material with which you have to work (however, we note that this screwdriver does not particularly “like” to constantly work at third speed - under prolonged heavy loads it can overheat, due to which the electronic protection system is triggered, shutting down the engine). Speeds are changed using a button on the “control panel”, which is located at the bottom of the handle. An LED is built next to it; it “looks” towards the socket and illuminates the work area.

As standard, the Graphite 58G024 pulse screwdriver is sold in online stores in the form of a “carcass”. You need to buy a battery and charger separately for it (we recommend taking a 2 Ah or 4 Ah battery, depending on how much work you plan to do at one time). Well, of course, you will need good bits that can withstand 200 Nm of torque.
