This is a progressive design, which, unlike conventional heating elements, does not come into direct contact with water, but gives off its heat to the tank wall. It turns out that scale does not form directly on the heater and it always works in the correct temperature regime. Due to such conditions, a dry heating element lasts at least 2-3 times longer than a submersible one. Another plus of such heating elements is the possibility of their simple replacement. Controlled by a mechanical thermostat. The design of such thermostats is 99.99% polished and they are very reliable. Few people give a FIVE-YEAR warranty on water heaters. But Gorenje does it. Installation is simple and straightforward, I installed it myself. The instructions describe the electrical circuit and the fundamental points regarding installation. They hung it above the washing machine - half the bathtub was blocked by this bandura and there was no hot water, in fact, we only drain it for the shower. Due to its size, this foolish thing did not fit under the sink and under the heated towel rail, we had to install it above the washing machine and run pipes under the bathtub - not only did they charge us 3,700 for installation instead of 1,500 (they say it’s a complicated installation), but now in fact, while you’re draining 5 In just a few minutes you’ll spit out thin water and wash your hands and dishes cold. If the model had normal dimensions, such stupidity would not exist. We were guided by the photo, it seems harmonious, elongated, but in fact the tank is very thick and short, this stupid thing hangs over your head, it’s scary that it will fall, it ruined the whole design. It is clear that the elk installers did not advise doing the best thing, but the dimensions of this model did not allow it to be installed in an inconspicuous place.
