Don't deal with this company if you don't have money to spare.
14 November 2019
From the first days of the installation, water began to drip, we turned to the service center, the mother arrived after 2 weeks, something poked around and left. Two days later it started leaking again. We called again the master of the SC. Said the gasket needed to be replaced. Waited a month for a gasket. The master arrived and started poking around, said the tank was dripping, it was necessary to arrange a replacement. As a result of 3 months without a boiler. SC says that we have to take it back to the store to get money, of course, installation at the beginning, delivery, dismantling, and installation and delivery of a new boiler at our expense. On exactly the same place popadalovo for 1000 UAH. I have not seen a better boiler, although before that a similar boiler from burning worked for 8 years without a single breakdown. But now we will never deal with this company again.

SMART water heater with smart control
22 June 2017
We needed a modern, narrow and shallow water heater with a volume of 50 liters. I went through many options and settled on this one. Its dimensions are really excellent, it fits perfectly in my small bathroom.
I have already gotten used to all kinds of smart electronics, but the smart water heater surprised me. Well, ECO SMART is an excellent technology; it's strange that it wasn't implemented earlier. The idea is that for about a week, the water heater operates in learning mode, monitoring how and when you use hot water. Based on this data, it then forms its own heating schedule, adjusting it so that the water is hot at just the right time. For example, at night or during the day when I'm at work, the heating element doesn't turn on. This clever feature helps reduce heat losses and noticeably lowers the monthly electricity consumption. It also has an automatic "anti-legionella" function, which ensures that no harmful microflora develops inside the tank. So, periodically, once every two weeks, the water heater independently heats the entire tank to 70 degrees and maintains this temperature for about two hours. This process kills almost all potentially dangerous bacteria, ensuring the water remains clean. The tank itself is quite sturdy, made from steel with a protective glass-ceramic coating and a magnesium anode. It comes with a 10-year warranty, but the electrical components and two kilowatt heaters have only a two-year warranty.
The automatic "anti-legionella" mode is certainly good. However, in my case, the water became stagnant and acquired an unpleasant odor after just a week of inactivity. Modern European SMART technologies are powerless against poor water quality.
great model, love it

This boiler is installed in our rented apartment, and we are very pleased :)

First of all, the cool EcoSmart function: after installation, the smart button blinks for about a week, indicating that the water heater is "learning", specifically adjusting to its owners' habits, remembering when and how much water they used. After a week, the button stops blinking, meaning it already knows everything. This mechanism is designed to heat water exactly when it's needed, thus saving a decent amount of electricity.

Overall, it heats water quickly, especially if you turn it on at full power, which is particularly relevant when guests arrive :)

Otherwise, it's a good device, probably worth the money!

Gorenje water heaters from the FTG series are distinguished by a special body shape — flat and elongated. For example, the 80-liter version has dimensions of 135x49x29.7 cm. Therefore, these models are suitable for placement where conventional cylindrical boilers do not fit. At the same time, the quality of the case, power (2.6 kW), tank heating rate (2.5 h) and functionality are in no way inferior to classical solutions.

Weekly work schedule

The FTG series reflects the company's slogan "Makes life easier". In EcoSmart mode, these devices "remember" the weekly schedule of their owners and then automatically heat the water at the appropriate time. The advantage of this approach is not only convenience for boiler users, but also cost savings. The company estimates that smart mode consumes approximately 25% less electricity than normal use. By the way, the model is not particularly economical, its energy efficiency class is B. However, the use of EcoSmart partially compensates for this “minus”.

The control panel attracts attention with a non-standard water heating indicator. Instead of a single number, it displays the current and user-selected temperature. This is convenient, because in real time you can see not only how the current temperature changes, but also how much it is lower than the selected one or or coincides with it. In addition, the indicator notifies you of emergency situations and malfunctions when they occur.

Electronic control

This model has advanced — electronic — control. So there is no rotary control here, it was replaced by two buttons. With the help of one, the EcoSmart mode is turned on and off. The possibilities of the second one are greater — turning on the boiler and choosing the required degree of heating (35, 57 or 75 °C). The manufacturer advises choosing +57°C. According to Gorenje's calculations, the formation of scale and heat loss is less than at maximum heating. When the device is idle for a long time, the company recommends putting it into the so-called standby mode (the temperature is stably maintained at + 10 °C), which is often called frost protection.
