Lightweight lawn mower with brushless motor
The feature that sets the GARDENA PowerMax Li-18/32 apart from many others is the brushless motor. It is more reliable than conventional electric motors, consumes less battery charge and has a number of other advantages. It is thanks to the brushless motor that Gardena engineers have managed to create a compact and lightweight (only 9.3 kg) mower that is as powerful and efficient as its 1200-watt connected “prototype” GARDENA PowerMax 1200/32 5032-20.
Maximum precision settings for the perfect haircut
This lawnmower, like many other Gardena lawnmowers, has side "combs". They allow you to mow grass close to vertical surfaces (walls, fences or path curbs) using the full working width (32 cm). The cut vegetation is collected in a rigid grass catcher. It has a small volume (30 L), but on top of it there is a filling indicator, by which you can understand at a glance whether the container is filled with grass or not yet. A special pride of Gardena is the “proprietary” QuickFit cutting height adjustment system. It is implemented in the form of a small “twist” (other manufacturers use levers for this purpose), with which you can change the height of all four wheels at the same time. It has as many as 10 positions (from 20mm to 60mm in small increments) — perfect for fine-tuning for different lawns. The mower for happiness, by and large, lacks only a carrying handle, without which it is inconvenient to lift it to pull it out of the boot or take it out into the yard from the pantry.
The mower comes with two batteries with a capacity of 2.6 Ah each (and two chargers for them). But this does not mean that one of them is a spare. To work in a lawn mower, you need to install two batteries at once.
Gardena mowers have battery solutions for every lawn
The manufacturer recommends using the GARDENA PowerMax Li-18/32 mower for mowing lawns up to 230 m². On larger plots, it is more convenient to use machines with larger working widths: the 37 cm GARDENA PowerMax Li-40/37 5038-20 or the 41 cm GARDENA PowerMax Li-40/41 5041-20. But they are larger, heavier and one and a half to two times more expensive.
