Utility knife with rocking blade

The universal tourist knife Ganzo F802 of the Firebird series can be used with equal success on a hike, hunting and fishing. The model has a non-standard design with 2 opposing blades made on the same knife plate with a common central axis. This is very similar to the design of a straight razor, with the only difference being that the blade is fixed here. Such a 2-shoulder blade is also called a rocking blade and it cannot be completely hidden: one of the blades will always be open. The blade required for operation is changed by pressing the Button Lock button and then turning the knife plate by 180°. In this case, the old blade is hidden in the cavity of the handle, and the new blade, after releasing the button, is fixed with a lock.

One "folding" instead of two non-folding

The drop-point main blade has short concave drops and a smooth sharpening line, while the secondary blade is sickle-shaped with a blunt rounded tip and one-sided sharpening. For the manufacture of the blade, stainless steel 7Cr17MoV (56 HRC) is used, which does not hold the cutting edge well, but is easily sharpened in field conditions. Keep in mind that according to the length of the blade 92 mm and the thickness of the blade 3 mm, the knife can be classified as a cold weapon, so when buying, require the opinion of an expert from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (certificate). The handle of the "rocking chair" is made of ABS plastic and is equipped with a protruding tail plate with a hole for a strap. The model weighs 143 g together with the cover, and when unfolded it has a length of 210 mm. To carry a knife on a belt, a complete hard case with a piston on a button and a loop is used, made of water-repellent synthetic fabric.
